Lighting Expertise to Compliment Your ProjectArchitects
We have been introduced to many of our clients by their architect and have even worked on a few of these architect’s own homes. Some architects recognise that lighting design is a separate specialism and that their clients’ homes will benefit from the expertise of a lighting designer.
As well as ensuring that your clients have the appropriate ambient and task lighting for every room we will highlight the architectural features that you have built into their design showing your work at its best. We have an unrivalled product knowledge of architectural and decorative lighting so your clients won’t miss out on lighting types and styles that they weren’t even aware existed.
We provide them with a detailed lighting and lighting controls plan and specification which will allow them to get an accurate quotation instead of a ball park estimate that will be subject to the dreaded “extras” bill at the end of the project. So, in order to get these costings as early as possible it’s almost never too early to get us in on your projects – when you have produced the Building Regulations drawings is ideal.
We have tried and tested suppliers who offer great products and fantastic service, however, we are open to specifying from the whole market. Your clients will not be restricted to having everything from one supplier, whether their range is entirely suitable for their project or not, which they would do if they contacted a manufacturer for a lighting design. We frequently co-ordinate the supply from more than 10 companies for a single project.
We ensure that your clients don’t fall foul of your Building Control Officer by creating a scheme that, if followed, will be Part L Compliant and meets the IEE 17th Edition Wiring Regulations.
The use of LEDs as lighting sources has created a rapidly changing world. We take the responsibility for finding alternatives to products that are deleted or go on to long lead times that impact on your clients’ build schedule or end date. We also ensure that products are either on a lighting controls manufacturer’s test lists or have samples provided for testing to ensure compatibility before anything is supplied to site. This means no headaches with LED behaving badly as you try to dim them.
In short, we make your projects, therefore you, look fabulous to your clients!
